For this card we were to focus on Sale-A-Bration items. All of the Sale-A-Bration items are free with a qualifying purchase. Several items are Level 1, meaning for every $50 purchase from the Annual catalog and/or Mini Catalog, you can select any Level 1 item. A few items are Level 2 they are free with every $100 purchase. For example: a $100 purchase from the Annual Catalog and/or Mini Catalog will earn 2 Level 1 items or 1 Level 2 item. A $150 purchase will earn 3 Level 1 items or 1 Level 1 item and 1 Level 2 item.

This was so difficult for me because I love them all and just could not pick which one to go with. I finally landed on the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp set, the coordinating Lily Pad die set, and coordinating Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper because I simply hadn’t used them as much as the other items and together create their own suite. Since the water lily has a connection to the Japanese Culture I thought it would be quite appropriate to pull in the embossing folder from the Power of Hope Bundle also in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

I chose a patterned paper from the Lily Impressions DSP, so tough to pick a patter, gorgeous patterns and outstanding color combinations. Purple is one of my go to colors so I elected to venture away from that and pick a color not typically in my wheel house. Pattern chosen and off to the races. I chose to go with the colors Garden Green and Flirty Flamingo, with a little metallic accent with the champagne foils. I love Champagne, its a good middle ground for me as I’m not into gold at all and silver typically isn’t my go to. The water lily image is stamped in Flirty Flamingo on Flirty Flamingo Card Stock. The Lily Pad is stamped in Garden Green on Garden Green card stock. The border element and water lily outline is cut with the coordinating dies from Champagne foil sheet. The additional layered lily petal element and the lily outline behind the sentiment is cut from vellum.

The Garden Green strip is embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing folder from the Power of Hope Bundle. Since that came from the Power of Hope Bundle I also went with a sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set “Today is a day fro new Beginnings”, white embossed on Flirty Flamingo card stock, then die cut with a die from the Sweetly Stitched Dies from the Mini Catalog. The embellishments are the gems from the From My Heart Suite also in the Mini Catalog.

As with me always, the inside is not to be forgotten. I simply used some extra die cuts I created while doing all of the cutting in the beginning. I love the border die. A little note or tip: the tear drop shape of the border die fits perfectly within the center teardrop shape along the bottom of the largest Lily outline die cut.
