Hello everyone, thank you so much for stopping by! First I must apologize for any insanity that may occur below. We are renovating and today we have no power! I am doing this post on my phone, and apparently dont have the same abilities on this device as I do my computer! Please forgive me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today I have for you a card created for TGIF Challenges<\/a><\/strong> #TGIFC211 #nolayers. Hop on over to their blog to see what others have done, so many fantastic designs. The Challenge is to create Just a card, no layers, simple stamping at its finest. #simplestamping. I will say simple stamping does not come easy to me. I’m all about the layers and I guess you could say 3D-ish?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TGIF Challenges<\/a><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Here is my take on this challenge, using only a couple of colors and one stamp set. The stamp set is A Good Man, which will be a new release on 4 June for Stampin’ Up! It is a great set to use as an answer to Fathers Day, Dad’s Birthday, a grandfather or some other outstanding gentleman that you adore and\/or admire. I took the Fathers Day route.<\/p>\n\n\n

This card began with Whisper White Thick cardstock. On the front of the card I stamped in Mango Melody (stamped off twice) the watercolor wash background. On top of that I stamped one of the sweetest images from the A Good Man stamp set in Basic Gray. This set is one of several new releases that will be introduced 4 June, in the release of the new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The sentiment is also from that set and stamped in Basic Gray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the card I used another sentiment from A Good Man, “You do a great job of being a great guy” also stamped in Basic Gray. In the lower left corner, I just had to stamp the heart from this set in Poppy Parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To finished off the card front I used a few sequins from the Gingham Gala sequin collection for a bit of sparkle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
