Hey everyone, thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate your visiting. Sorry I have been gone for a bit, our house is going through some renovation while we are still living in it. The contractor “kicked” us out so they could finish the wood floors correctly and that would mark the end….mostly. So we did, we took our 4th of July vacation a week early and headed to the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have for you a card that was created with inspiration from the folks at CAS(E) this sketch<\/a><\/strong>! This is a sketch from the past so this challenge is actually a RETRO CAS(E) this sketch! This original sketch was CTS#32, this sketch is CTS#328.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create this card, the Stampin’ Up! Twinkle Builder Punch caught my eye first. My original thought was to do something with the coordinating stamp set Little Twinkle<\/a><\/strong> and the new stamp set released in the new Annual Catalog called Stargazing<\/a><\/strong>. Then I came across the Rainbow Builder Dies<\/a><\/strong> (they are on the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack right now.), suddenly I went into an kind of outer space, looking up at the clear night sky, kind of thought. One of the cloud dies – helped me to replicate the milky way (that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!) worked perfectly to create the vertical element. Every cloud has a silver lining typically, but in this case I wanted to step it up a notch and went gold. Using the Twinkle Builder Punch, I punched the moon and stars from Gold Foil and arranged them in a circular shape to replicate the circle in the sketch. The black front was cut down from Black Glimmer paper. The Gold Foil pieces were glued to the Black Glimmer paper with liquid glue, once dry this mat was attached to the Whisper White mat with Foam Tape. The two panels were then attached to the front of the Whisper White Thick card base again with foam tape. Giving this card a lot of dimension, which to me replicates the loftiness of outer space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
