Today I have a card that was inspired by the color challenge #046 at Inspire. Create Stamping Challenges<\/a><\/strong>. The color challenge they have created for us is to use the new 2019-2021 In-colors from Stampin’ Up!. Which is a tiny bit of a challenge, but I put myself to the task and this is what I have come up with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peacocks being the beautiful colorful creatures that they are, I felt was quite fitting for incorporating all of the In-colors. So to start, I washed a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with all of the 2019-2021 In-colors ink pads (excluding Purple Posy), using a sponge dauber. Once that dried and I was happy with how everything came together, I cut out the peacock with the very detailed peacock from the Detailed Peacock die set. I cut another peacock from Gold Foil to layer underneath. I attached the combined peacock to a piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock cut down to fit the Purple Posy cardstock mat. I attached a 1\/2″ sliver of Noble Peacock Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the side of the Pretty Peacock card, then covered the seam with the coordinating 3\/8″ Old Olive\/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon, using double sided tape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
