This will be a card created for CAS Colours & Sketches<\/a><\/strong>, Challenge #333. These colors definitely conjure up the vibes of the fall season. Looking at the temperature projections for those of us in the south, Fall cannot get here quick enough! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this card I did a bit of water coloring. Like I said Fall jumped into my mind, as did falling leaves. Stampin’ Up! is introducing a new bundle in September called Gather Together that I just cannot get enough of, it is perfect for those who love leaves and pumpkins! That would be me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start, I used a half sheet of Cajun Craze cut to 4-1\/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1\/2″ for a side folding card. On Water Color paper, I stamped the leaf image from the Gathered Together stamp set in Sahara Sand. I water colored using Old Olive, Grapefruit Grove and Cajun Craze. I then needed to outline the leaves and bring the detail of the vein back out a bit by using my black water color pencil. I cut the leaves out using the coordinating leaf die from the Gathered Leaves die set. Attached them to a piece of Whisper White cut to fit the front of the card and then stamped the sentiment “Wishing you well” in Old Olive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
