With this post I bring you a card created for the Color Challenge #tgifc228 at TGIF Challenges<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. This is a beautiful, rich combination of colors Basic Black, Merry Merlot and Very Vanilla. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose to use a stamp set out of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog that I have been dying to use, the Country Home Stamp set. I chose this set mostly because the creamy Very Vanilla color and the deep red of Merry Merlot strike me as country, mix them with black they do become a bit more of a modern feel, but I let the Vanilla and Merlot whisk me off to the Country. The flowers in the urn that have all the “holes” on the flower – I discovered they are called Lotus Pod stems, all the artificial version I have seen are a brown or deep dark red color, Merry Merlot fit that bill, or wasn’t to much of a stretch. Living in the South, I see cotton every where, it also conjures the feelings of being out in the country. There you go, every art piece has a meaning to the artist and there is mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
