I don’t know what possessed me to make a shaker card, they are not hard to make at all, but they can be a bit tedious. Anything that tickles the fancy should be pursued…within reason! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this card, I went with a Basic Black base. Using the largest Stitched Rectangle die, I cut the focal mat, then I used the Scalloped Heart Punch from the Heart Punch Pack to create the “window” for the shaker portion. To the back, attached with liquid glue is a piece of clear window sheet. I also apply 2 layers of foam tape all over for the dimension and to frame the window. The backdrop to the window is a scalloped heart image from the Heartfelt Stamp set, stamped in Real Red. From my stash, I put various sequins and bugle beads into the window area and then attach the card base. I heat embossed various images from the Heartfelt Stamp set. I used Versamark Ink and Real Red Ink with Embossing Powder on the Scalloped Heart with the sentiment “Happy Valentines Day”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
