<\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\nThis story begins with a Basic Black cardstock card base. Run a piece of Crumb Cake card stock through the embossing machine with the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. I have absolutely fallen in love with this folder, it is so so versatile. Tear down the edge, then tear down the other edge, let it tear where it may. I chose to tear the edges because I wanted to be a more natural feeling background. Nature isn’t always delicate and smooth, and it definitely isn’t straight rigid lines. I love the extra touch of texture the tearing provides. I finished off this strip of Crumb Cake by wrapping a length of Linen Thread to add to the rustic nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pulled out some pre-cut poppies and a leaf from my stash created with an earlier die cut session. I love having these die cut sessions. When a die cut\/bundle etc. comes along that I know I will be using frequently, I get a beverage, a few pieces of cardstock – typically in various colors – and cut several things in one go. Now I can simply pull from the stash to create something quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To finish off the front, I selected the sentiment “Thank You” from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and heat embossed the sentiment in black on a piece of Crumb Cake and cut it out with the Timeless Label Punch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My cards are never finished till the inside has been shown a touch of love, so the inside is lined with a piece of Whisper White then adorned with a smaller poppy from the stash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
