Today I have for you a card created for the Global Design Project Color Challenge #GDP229<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. The Stampin’ Up! colors selected for this challenge are Crushed Curry, Garden Green and Night of Navy. This has got to be my all time favorite color combination, since I was a kid, I cannot tell you how excited I was to see this combo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this combination being a deep rooted favorite of mine, I had to have a think about what I wanted to use. The Navy conjured the image of the Black and Blue butterflies we have in Alabama, I assume at least throughout the south. I think they are called Swallowtail Butterflies, but not positive about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once that image popped into my head, the green and yellow were flowers, leaves and a beautiful sunny day! I decided to go with the Positive Thoughts Stamp set from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. This set also has a coordination die set that recently was released, put the two together with a little bit of Whisper White and Linen thread, you got yourself one gorgeous card….in my opinion of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
