A longer month brings about the opportunity for a 5th challenge, which is double the challenge. For this 5th week of March, CAS Colours & Sketches<\/a><\/span><\/strong> has just that for you. This Double Challenge #364 is a color and sketch challenge. The colors of reference are from Stampin’ Up and are: Peekaboo Peach, Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango. Full disclosure: I do NOT have Peekaboo Peach in any way shape or form in my arsenal. However, the other colors I by chance purchased from Stampin’ Up! in cardstock when it was on the clearance rack over a year ago. I have now purchased Peekaboo peach since it too is now on the Clearance Rack at Stampin’ Up. This is not my first run in with Peekaboo peach, so I felt it could be a wise investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have for you my inspiration card. My inside sources tell me that the Peekaboo Peach is more along the lines of Mango Melon rather than Grapefruit Grove – so I went with Mango Melody. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“If you can dream it, you can achieve it” they say. It is so crazy to me how an idea can pop in your head, then there comes the hypothetical Y in the road. It either comes together super easy ….. or….it fights with you tooth and nail at every turn. I’ve decided (just like with children) to choose my battles. There is a difference in finesse and an outright argument. If a thought turns out to be an argument, I drop it! If it just rolls right off the fingers and onto the cardstock, that creation was definitely meant to be! To say all that, I have had my run ins….let me tell you…luckily though, this creation just rolled right out onto the cardstock. Therefore this card makes me oh so happy! Super simple to create….I think your going to love it and I hope it inspires you to create a card for this challenge and post it. Please remember I only had 2 of the challenge colors, and only in cardstock..no markers, no ink, no nothing. I felt obligated to use what I had in the required color scheme. The only color that will fall short of the mark is the Mango Melody, which I have on good authority is about the closest I can come to Peekaboo Peach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
