This set of cards went a bit to the rugid, grungy side, a bit of a dog leg from the usual. I love it! I was trying to figure out how to use the Comfort and Hope stamp set as more than just a background stamp set. There are a couple of background only type stamp images in the Tasteful Touches stamp set as well, so I threw them into the mix. I stamped all of the images in Crumb Cake or Cinnamon Cider on Very Vanilla cardstock. Tore and inked the edges with Cinnamon Cider. I stamped the grid image from Comfort and Hope in Crumb Cake on a piece of Crumb Cake Card, then tore and inked the edges with Crumb Cake to create a mat. Inked the edges of the Very Vanilla mat with Crumb Cake. I created bird nests using the Gold twine that comes from the Forever Greenery Ribbon Combo pack then attached to the Very Vanilla mat with Tear N Tape. I dry embossed card front pieces of Very Vanilla with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Adhered all the layers to the Very Vanilla Card base and there they are, quite the rustic, very masculine, easy to pull together, note cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
