Welcome to the 4th and final challenge of September. That month went by much to fast and way faster than necessary. Now we must applaud Jenny of an outstanding selection of color and sketch challenges this month, she has pulled together a very nice sketch challenge for the end of this month. I had fun creating this card! The Background DSP is a pattern from the Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP pack. I added a bit of watered down ink squishing in Bumblebee to the top of the DSP to mimic a bright sunny day. On that same DSP piece I stamped the trees from Welcoming Woods in Soft Suede and used the Baby Wipe as a custom ink pad to stamp the falling leaves – I used Cherry Cobbler and Bumblebee allowing them to mix or not as they would to get the color changes in the leaves. I cut the piece of DSP down to the size, put each piece on a mat of Brushed Metallic Cardstock – gold to match the gold swirls in the DSP. I attached foam to the back of the panels and then glued to them to the card base. I pulled some previously created leaves from the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle that also used the baby wipe custom ink pad technique with the same colors. I attached the leaves with glue to the 2 bottom panels. The sentiment “Thank You for Your Kindness”, is stamped in Soft Suede on a narrow strip of Basic White scrap and then attached all the way across the top panel with dimensionals. Inside is lined with a piece of Basic White cardstock, then I used a scrap of the DSP I had watercolored as a border down the side and pulled in another leaf to carry the theme through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
