I’m sure we have all had an idea in our head that looks absolutely stunning! This would be my situation, so I jumped straight away to creating the vision…..I must say it was not as stunning as my vision (the green card). I “like” it, don’t love it, probably will hide it at the bottom of the card box. So I went into backup plan mode….this card actually turned out better than I had envisioned, so yes, I do love this card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So simple, with a touch of color, the color combination just came to be – I reached for an ink pad and that is what happened. Looking at it, it could also work as a holiday card – with a different sentiment, maybe a touch more pizzazz. This card comes together with 1 stamp set – Artistically inked. The colors are Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler (my favorite red in the Stampin’ Up! line). The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. All stamped on a top folding Basic White standard card base. Not to let the inside fall short, I used the same images and colors to create a bottom border. I really do love how this card turned out. Hindsight being what it is – If I were to make more of this card – I would like to experiment with clear embossing the sentiment, and add a touch of gold embossing….maybe on the flowers, also die cutting the flowers with their coordinating die and adding gold die cut leaves? Hmmm – I definitely have more ideas for this card….stay tuned….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
