It is the 5th Tuesday of January, which means it is time for a Double Challenge, here at CAS Colours & Sketches<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Patricia has brought to us a very fun combination of challenges. Can’t wait to see what the design team examples of this challenge inspire you to create! This card came together pretty quickly with my Stamparatus and just one stamp set and it coordinating punch. I can’t seem to stamp a sentiment perfectly the first time, straight, or without question, keep things lined up just so without it. I also do have these specific colors in my collection so I chose to go with Blushing Bride for the pink, So Saffron for the yellow and Sweet Sorbet for the red. I couldn’t decide if it was more of a pink red, which had me leaning to Melon Mambo or if it was a solid red – Sweet Sorbet won out in my mind. The debates and difficulties I can create for myself is…. absolutely mind boggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pulled out the sentiment “Happy Valentines Day” and began stamping it 10 times down the side of my Basic White cardstock, alternating each line with Blushing Bride and So Saffron. The Stamparatus makes life so much easier with this challenge for sure. Then on a scrap piece of Basic White I stamped the Heart outline image in Sweet Sorbet, then punched it out with the coordinating punch. I cut the sentiment line up with a stitched Rectangle die, attached it to the center of a side folding Basic White card base, then attached the heart with Dimensionals for a bit more interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
