Hey, welcome to our sketch challenge this month. Slimline is not usually in my go to bag of tricks, so mixing it up a bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slimline cards is not in my usual box of tricks, though they are fun. The challenge is…. turning this into clean and simple. My first thought, keep the majority of the card white (or one color), Basic White. The diversity, and simplicity, comes from the pattern, textures and depth from using dimensionals under the tag, some of the floral images and the sentiment strip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The background is created with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. I used a stitched tag die from my stash for the tag shape and just left it as is. The colors and focal point comes in with the floral images from the Flowers of Beauty Bundle and stamp set.. The sentiment comes from the Everyday Details Stamp set. I used Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather inks for stamping the floral images and Highland Heather ink for the sentiment on a scrap strip of Basic White card. The inside just uses the same stamp set and coordinating dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
