This week at CAS Colours & Sketches, we have a color challenge #369 for you. The colors in the challenge are Stampin’ Up! color names but are used just as a reference point. You are most welcome to use whatever colors in your stash that most closely resemble these reference colors.

This card came together in a very round about way….I had so many ideas so I wound up making them all – 3 worked out but this one turned out to be the choice for this challenge. The Wish for It All bundle came to mind first, probably because it is retiring in June….I’m sad to see it go.
On Whisper White cardstock I stamped the doily image from the Wish for it all Stamp Set, in Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, and Terracotta Tile. Yes, I have a Purple Posy ink pad….I was able to get one before they removed it from the product from the product line, due to ink quality issues. Looking through the new catalog, it doesn’t appear to be making a debut in the new catalog, so it remains unavailable. Mine seems to stamp pretty well so I do use it. I die cut each doily with the coordinating framelit die in the Doily Wishes Die set.
The sentiment “Take time to do what makes your soul happy”, is stamped in Black Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch. The sentiment is from the Tasteful Textures Stamp set which is also retiring in June. The sentiment is matted with Pretty Peacock also cut with the Label Me Lovely Punch, cut in half and attached to the back of the sentiment, giving the illusion of a larger mat behind the sentiment.
Last but not least comes the inside of the card, I simply attached a thin strip of cardstock in Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy and Terracotta Tile.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Below are pictured links to all the items used for this card, click the link of the item to be taken to my online store where you can learn more about each item. If you would like to learn more about this challenge or to see what other talented designers have created for this challenge, hop on over to CAS Colours & Sketches. I will return soon with something new. Until then, stay safe, and by all means keep crafting, exploring and creating. See you soon.
