April 2024 Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternative with add-on die set.

I am loving how the Paper Pumpkin kits have an one time Add-on Coordinating die set that works with 3 months of kits. There was a coordinating add-on die for January – March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit and now there is a coordinating add-on die for April – June 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kits. This kit arrived perfectly on time for an Anniversary card I needed to create for my sisters. Butterflies have a very special meaning for her and the family so this worked so perfectly to make an extra special alternate design with.
I cut one of the Basic Gray Gold embossed cards and one of the Lost Lagoon Gold Embossed cards from the kit in half along the score line, leaving me with 2 pieces of now Gold Embossed Specialty DSP, I cut one of the pieces for both colors in half length wise, and attached those pieces to front of the card base for the Basic Gray and Lost Lagoon fun fold cards. The kit also includes square pieces of Champagne foil card stock. I cut one square in half, using one half on each card as a matt for the matching Basic Gray or Lost Lagoon cardstock front panel. The colorful gold embossed butterflies are die cuts included with this kit. I attached the front facing butterfly with dimensionals in the upper corner of the solid matted piece. The side profile gold embossed butterfly is attached to the label with glue
The add-on die set comes with a couple of butterfly dies, a label die and the word thanks, which came in quite handy for this card. I cut the label from Basic White card stock then in Basic Gray ink I stamped the sentiments Celebrate Love from the Unbounded Love Stamp set. I used some scrap Champagne foil cardstock to die cut the butterfly that I used inside the card. The inside of the cards are line with a piece of Basic White Card stock and decorated with a sliver of left over “butterfly embossed specialty DSP” The Butterfly die is 2 pieces one is the outline cut and the other can nest inside the outline. The nesting die cuts the more intricate wing pattern inside. The die that cuts the full butterfly shape actually could cut out a butterfly found on one of the other pieces included in the kit, if you choose to. I added a bit more bling to the front of the card with the Basic Gray and Smokey Slate Pearls.
