Today I have a card designed to inspire you to play along with us this week at CAS Colours & Sketches. This week we have Color Challenge #371, the challenge colors are Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler. The Stampin’ Up! color names are used for reference only, please use whatever is already in your stash that most closely resemble these colors.
I paired the challenge colors up with the By the Dock Stamp set and the coordinating Dockside dies. I used Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry to create a watercolor background on water color paper. Stamped the images in Coffee Archival Ink, colored the boat image with Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry watercolor pencils then die cut the images with the coordinating die. The sentiment “here for you” is from the By the Dock stamp set stamped in Coastal Cabana and die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die. The focal panel is attached to a Coastal Cabana mat and then attached to the Whisper White top folding card base. The sentiment is attached with dimensionals and embellished with die cut birds from the stamp set.
Inside I stamped the oar image. If I am here for you I can’t let you head upstream without a paddle!
