My mind is still caught up in the news of the world, so of course my ideas all pull from that. This card uses a Pacific Point card base. The Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight background is the smooshing technique using an image from the Oceanfront Stamp Set stamped on Basic White cardstock, then die cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die. While the smoosh dries, I stamp the smaller sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp set. It is first stamped with Bumblebee and Garden Green ink, then I added additional color with a sponge dauber, then finished off with watercolor pencils to give it more texture and depth. The sentiment is from Waves of Inspiration and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. Inside, the card is lined with a quarter piece of Basic White card. I used the smooshing technique again with an image from Artistically Inked. Once the ink had dried I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the same small sunflower image. All the finished panels are attached to the card base with tape runner.
