A Beautiful Friendship blooms with Sunday Stamps

Hey everyone, thanks so much for spending a minute or two with me, I do enjoy sharing with you!

This card is created for a Color Challenge with Sunday Stamps SSC211 Mediterranean Musing. In this challenge we have to use a minimum of 3 colors of the 6 colors shown. I challenged myself further and tried to use as many as I could…..tastefully, I made it to 5. Starting at the top I fit in, Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove Mango Melody, a tiny touch of Early Espresso and Pretty Peacock.

Going the simple stamping route, I used the Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer stampset and managed to arrange the flowers, leaves and stamen in a perfectly gorgeous cluster or bouquet of flowers. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Did a tiny bit of masking and then off to the races.

For a bit of texture I ran the Pretty Peacock background mat through the machine in the Subtle DIEF. Added a touch of Pretty Peacock Scalloped ribbon for a bit more texture and interest. The stamped panel was run through the embossing machine with the Stitched Rectangle die to dress up its edges. Then I ran a scrap piece of Whisper White through the machine with a smaller Stitched Rectangle die for the sentiment which I heat embossed in black. For a touch of bling, I attached a few Iridescent sequins in a color that most closely resembles Grapefruit Grove, however, I’m noticing in the photos it looks more like Mango Melody.
