A new week ushers in a really fun Sketch Challenge, hop on over to CAS Colours & Sketches to get a little inspiration, then post your own creation. We would love to see what you create with this sketch.

Here is what I came up with…

This was so quick and easy to create and requires only a handful of items.

On a quarter piece of Whisper White card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink I used the 3 withes brooms image from the Festive Post Stamp set. The brooms are significantly closer together in the stamp image, here, I inked them separately to spread them out a bit more to allow room for their colorful trails. I used one of the water “watercolored” images from the Waterfront stamp set. Under each broom I stamped the image in a different color – Cinnamon Cider, Bumble Bee and Misty Moonlight. I then cut the panel down and matted with Basic Black. I used a strip of Whisper White scrap to stamp the sentiment ” Witching you a Happy Halloween”. I did alter this stamp a bet as well. I didn’t want 2 lines of text, I only wanted 1 narrow strip of text. I simply aligned each line independently . I snipped down the edges and attached to another scrap of Basic Black, then mounted to card front with dimensionals.

Inside the card, I repeated a broom and trail process using the Misty Moonlight ink.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Below are pictured links to all the items used for this card, click the link of the item to be taken to my online store where you can learn more about each item. If you would like to learn more about this challenge or to see what other talented designers have created for this challenge, hop on over to CAS Colours & Sketches. I will return soon with something new. Until then, stay safe, and by all means keep crafting, exploring and creating. See you soon.
