Black and White
Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by my blog, I have designed this card for the Black and White color challenge #040 at Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges blog.
Black and White cards are fairly tough for me to come up with. I love dressing in black and white, but even that needs a touch a touch of color somewhere. As I stood in my craft space perusing my stash and what I wanted to use, the Bloom by Bloom stamp set jumped right out at me. The stamps are simple but yet sophisticated, in my opinion. They make a good solid image that can stand alone. I continued to peruse the stash wondering what I should combine it with or was there something better. A lot of times when I am doing these challenges my gut takes over, kicks the heart and brain out of the way, and takes command. That is just what happened here. I grabbed the Buffalo Check background stamp, Lasting Lily stamp set, Bloom by Bloom Stamp set, heat gun, embossing powder and inks. There was a tiny moment where my brain checked back in and played tug of war with white card stock or black card stock. Gut then responded with “I got this!” and we were off again. Brain said can I have some ribbon, gut said “I guess so”. Next thing I know we have arrived at this card. The Sentiment came from the Lasting Lily stamp set.
