At CAS Colours & Sketches, a new week brings a new challenge, just as a new month brings a new hostess! This months hostess is Bhavya, she brings you a very nice selection of colors, I can see this color combination going in so many different directions. Where do these colors pull your imagination? At CAS Colours & Sketches we would love to see your work. Please post your creations on our blog.

I had so many thoughts run through my head for these colors, I explored them all, loved them all, but I had one that grabbed me. I adore the Bright Baubles bundle, with its large ornaments that can themselves be taken in all sorts of directions, when the dies are pulled into the mix. The ornaments are so large that they can easily steal the show. They lend themselves perfectly to coloring.

First I stamped this bauble image in Rich Razzleberry, then I colored the image with Balmy Blue and Rich Razzleberry colored pencils. I made a few dots and outlined the central circle with some Liquid Pearls in Pewter. The sentiment “Seasons Greetings” is stamped in Smoky Slate and comes from the Time of Giving Stamp set.

Love your addition of liquid pearls! I’ve never used them for anything but “dots.” Thanks for the new idea!
