CAS Colours & Sketches – Colour Challenge 536
Hey! Thanks for stopping by my little happy spot. Take a look around and hope you enjoy.
Welcome to May! Here is our Colour Challenge to kick off this month, selected by our fearless leader Patricia and your hostess for the month. What an earthy and beautiful selection of colors. Can’t wait to see what these colors inspire you to creat.
We would love to see what card creation you can bring to life. Please consider, taking a minute to post your hard work and creativity in your card creation to our challenge gallery at CAS Colours & Sketches.
I found myself to be quite short on Birthday cards! This is a very heavy birthday month in my world, so I had to go on a Birthday card restocking. This colour scheme kicks off this event for me and in my head, works perfectly with the Notes of Nature Bundle. I am also needing masculine cards – so what a perfect opportunity!. I used a standard A5 Basic White card base, did some background stamping work with images from the Notes of Nature stamp set in Pool Party, Pebbled Path and Lost Lagoon. I used the accompanying die set for Notes of Nature Stamp Set, also called the Notes of Nature Dies, to cut the sprig of leaves image from Lost Lagoon Card stock. The sentiment is stamped in Pebbled Path and is also from the Notes of Nature stamp set and attached it with dimensionals – hidden in very tiny spots! Inside the card, I stamped a leaf image from the same stamp set in Lost Lagoon.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Below are pictured links to all the items used for this card, click the link of the item to be taken to my online store where you can learn more about each item. If you would like to learn more about this challenge or to see what other talented designers have created for this challenge, hop on over to CAS Colours & Sketches. I will return soon with something new. Until then, stay safe, and by all means keep crafting, exploring and creating. See you soon.
