It is party time here at CAS Colours & Sketches because we are celebrating our 450th challenge!  We are very thankful for our challenge participants who have made this amazing milestone possible.  We would like to thank all of you for your support and hope that you will continue to join in our challenges.

This challenge gives you the flexibility to look back through the 2021 year and pick your most favorite challenge, with an additional challenge to make it seasonal! As always we would love to see what your favorite challenge was and how you chose and how you made it seasonal, so please do post your holiday themed cards to our gallery at CAS Colours & Sketches.

For this holiday themed challenge, I decided to create my own double challenge using Sketch Challenge #415 and Colour Challenge #420.

I combined Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set with the Christmas Tree Dies from the Whimsical Tree Bundle for the CAS Sketch Challenge #415 and then the background image is created by blending Blushing Bride Ink and Highland Heather with blending brushes through the snowflake pattern of the Adorning Design Decorative Masks. I used the Double Oval Punch to punch an oval in Blushing Bride cardstock, then the large “stick” tree die from the the Christmas Tree Dies to cut a Soft Sea Foam tree. The sentiment ” Snowflake Wishes for a Merry Christmas” is stamped in Blushing Bride. Of course inside the card is not to be ignored! I used Blushing Bride and Highland Heather Stamp pads 1st and 2nd generation stamping of snowflake images from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp set.
