Creativity and Fun Fold

I have for you today, a card that was inspired by Festive Friday Challenge #FF0034. All about creativity and fun folds.

This was fun trying to figure out how to do a fun fold and express creativity! So this is what I came up with. Using several different stamps, some heat embossing, die cutting and some alcohol markers I am pretty pleased with how this card turned out.

I started with a Basic Black Cardstock base. Then on a sheet of Whisper White I created a collage of stamps from Hero Arts May monthly Kit and Stampin’ Up! Crafting Forever stamp set all around the sentiment, which also comes from Hero Arts May monthly kit. I colored the collage with Stampin’ Blends markers and adhered that collage to the inside of the card.

The White heat embossing on the flaps of the Basic Black card come from a large Hero Arts Background stamp. Using Stitched Nested dies and Real Red cardstock from Stampin up, I stamped in Whisper White a sentiment from the Crafting Forever stamp set on the larger Real Red Stitched Nested Die cut. To keep the opposite side of the flap from looking unfinished I attached a smaller Real Red Stitched Nested die cut behind the top piece.
