Our theme this month is Encouragement. Do you know someone who could really you a “pick me up”, something to create a bright spot in their day or words of encouragement to pull them through a tough season? Need to hear a voice of confidence? Send them a beautiful card to let them know you are there for them.

For my card I chose to use a background of Lemon Lime Twist and wanted to use an array of die cuts (and a bit of fussy cutting). With Spring in the air and Easter just around the corner, I felt the daffodils (the fussy cut part) from the “Your Inspiring” stamp set screamed Easter, Spring, Renewal and spark a Happy feeling. They are glued at the bottom behind the trellis, then push through and are then attached with dimensionals on top of the trellis. The Trellis is from the “Florentine” Thinlit and I used the Wood Textures DSP to represent a wooden trellis. The behind the trellis I used the Garden Impressions DSP, hoping it resembles a sea of daffodils.

Inside this card I used watercolor paper to lay down a touch of Blueberry Bushel, Mango Melody and Gorgeous Grape, let them mix and mingle a bit, heat set them to dry, then used the Big Shot to cut out the Butterfly and flower from the “Springtime Impressions” Thinlits. The greeting on the front is from the Incredible like you stamp set, on a die from the “Rose Trellis” Thinlits, attached with dimensionals. The inside sentiment is from the “Your Inspiring” stamp set.
