This week, at Global Design Project #GDP256, the challenge of the week is to CASE a card by Kayla McCreadie
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit
Here is how I CASE-ed Kayla’s design.
Using the Majestic Mountain Dies that can be bundled with the gorgeous water color look Mountain Air Stamp set I die cut several clouds in Whisper White and Gray Granite. I also cut several Pine Trees in Old Olive, then attached the trees to a piece of Old Olive cardstock. Once the trees were dry, I die cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow with a Stitched Rectangle Die one size larger as a mat. From Whisper White cardstock I used a Tasteful Labels die to cut the Greeting element. From the Life is Beautiful stamp set, I stamped the Greeting “Life is Beautiful” in Gray Granite on the Tasteful Labels die cut element. With all the parts and piece completed, I wrapped the Old Olive panel a couple of time with Linen Thread and tied a simple knot. I played with the cloud arrangement which ended with 3 clouds (1 Whisper White and 2 Gray Granite clouds glued to the Old Olive panel). Then another Gray Granite cloud glued to the front of the greeting. Then I attached the greeting with dimensionals over the Linen Thread to keep it in place. The Old Olive panel is glued to the Mossy Meadow panel, the completed focal panel is attached to a Gray Granite Top Folding Card base.
Inside the card I attached another Old Olive Pine tree and a couple of Gray Granite clouds

The Get & Go Starter Kit promotion is meant to give those who sign up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator additional products to help them get started right away. In addition to the already great valued Starter Kit, new Stampin’ Up! Team Members will receive precut paper, stamps, and embellishments to use in their first event.
In addition to the regular starter kit (for $99 USD/$135 CAD, new recruits choose $125 USD/$165 CAD-worth of products). Keep in mind, the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine can be used as your Starter Kit. (The Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine is $120, use it as your Starter Kit selection it would only cost $99 – a $21 savings). New recruits will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set—all for their first event.
8 packs of precut cardstock of the coastal cabana pack will be provided, and 8 packs of precut cardstock of the Granny Apple Green pack, for a total of 16 cards (packs include envelopes). The new recruit can choose what samples to replicate and how to distribute the packs to their customers.
Important note: Ink, adhesive, cutting tool, and clear block for stamping must be purchased separately. However, these products may be included as part of the Starter Kit product selection.
