I have started creating a tag to go with every card I create. I am thinking I will also create an art journal page to start off each idea, to get a better feel for look, direction, design, etc. So stay tuned for those too.
This card was created to match the tag that came before it. You may have seen it for the Stamp It Group Christmas in July Blog Hop last week.
It was fun to further refine or rethink some things from the tag. This card, you will notice is much brighter than the tag, due to the Whisper White card base and background as opposed to the Crumb Cake that had been inked in Garden Green and came off a lot darker. While I like the brighter version, I do still really love the masculine feel of the tag.
For the inside, I used left over bits from the Plaid Builder die set in the Brass Foil, Garden Green Cardstock and Red Velvet.
