This post brings you a card created for The Aquatic Theme at Global Design Project #GDP251.
An aquatic theme can take so many directions…..I had a hard time deciding where I wanted to take this with the stamp sets I have in my stash. My daughter is a swimmer, butterfly and backstroke are her best events. Naturally my first aquatic thought involves a pool, a swimmer, lane ropes and swimming. Not many of those sorts of stamp sets or themes are available. So I chose to go with the Sailing Home stamp set assisted by the Smooth Sailing Die set, rounded out with the High Tide Stamp set and a touch of embellishment from left over the June 2019 June – A Little Smile – Paper Pumpkin Kit. Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and So Saffron are the colors mostly used for this card. I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder for the mat. The finished mat is elevated using fun foam and the greeting is cut from the Tasteful Labels dies (also a part of the Tasteful Touches Bundle) then elevated with dimensionals.
