The Stamp It Group is a group of talented ladies that are all my sisters/brothers, our up-line hosts a card swap with each new catalog, we make 11 cards all the same, send them to her, then she sends the other cards back to us. A great way to share others ideas with a very large group of people. It is a lot of work but so rewarding when you get to see what others have created with the same set, bundle, etc or with another set or bundle that may be sitting on the fence.
Since the August – December Mini Catalog, which will be released 4 August 2020, has Autumn/Thanksgiving, Halloween, Winter and Christmas sets I thought it would be fun to play with an Autumn set as well as a Christmas set. This would be the Christmas card I created with a couple of the Christmas sets. This uses The Wishes & Wonder Bundle which is also a part of the Wonder of the Season Suite, as well as the Don’t Stop Believin’ Cling Stamp set. I absolutely love the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders which are a new 3-3/8″ wide embossing folder that will work quite nicely with the brand new Mini Embossing machine that will release a bit later. To get the look I got, I simply inked the smooth side of the embossing folder with Pear Pizzazz, inserted a piece of Whisper White card in the folder then ran it through the embossing machine. Leaving the raised dots white and the “background” colored in Pear Pizzazz.
The Santa face is silver heat embossed on whisper white card, cut out with one of the Stitched Shapes Oval Dies, then water colored with the Water color pencils. The same for the sleigh from the Wishes and Wonders Bundle. The reindeer also comes from this same set, I die cut him from Cinnamon Cider, added some marks with Soft Suede and Whisper White Pigment, then spritzed with a healthy dose of Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer.
