Stampin’ Trimmer and the Big Shot are going to be discontinued
Sadly we must say good bye to the Stampin’ Trimmer and the Big Shot. As they say, “out with the old in with they New!”
The Brand New 2019 – 2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is coming soon and to make room for all the new products we have to say farewell to some old favorites. Today we were given a preview to some product that will not be included in the new catalog. The Big Shot and the Stampin’ Trimmer and all their accessories will not be in the new catalog and will be retiring. All of the items are now “while supplies last” and could sell-out at any time. The full Retirement list is coming Monday 15 April 2019.
Why is the Stampin’ Trimmer retiring?
Unfortunately the manufacturer has caused Stampin’ UP! a lot of headache with this product. The only way to move away from this issue is to discontinue the trimmer and find a new manufacturer to create something better and use someone more reliable. What this means is you need to quickly move over to my shop and pick up all the accessories for the trimmer, so that you have plenty of cutting blades, scoring blades, and cutting mats to pull you through the dry period. These accessory items will sell out quickly. To my knowledge replacement parts are not available any where else and you can only order 3 sets through Stampin’ Up! for now. However, once the Retiring List is released Monday 15 April that will increase from 3 sets to 6 sets until they are gone.
Something new and improved is coming in the future, we don’t know what or when. Now is the time to stock up. Of course if you do not own the trimmer, you will have no problem in the cutting department.
