Here is the inspiration card I have created for CAS Colours & Sketches Color Challenge #360. These colors, Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam, screamed spring to me. Left me no choice but to head to the garden.
The floral images are from the DistINKtive Beautiful Friendship Stamp set from the 2019-2020 Annual catalog. DisntINKtive stamps give photo-realistic style images. Stampin’ Up! Distinktive stamps have a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step. These look have a watercolor look that I love.
The card base is Blushing Bride. On Whisper White cardstock the, front Rose cluster image in the foreground is stamped in Blushing Bride I masked the rose cluster, then filled in behind with Hydrangea flower image in Soft Sea Foam. The double leaf image is stamped in 3rd generation Shaded Spruce – still fairly dark. The completed picture is cut using the Nested Rectangle Die. The sentiment ” So very Happy to Know you” from the same stamp set is stamped in Blushing Bride on Whisper White and cut with the Label Me Lovely Punch, I trimmed off the side edges to adjust its size a bit. I cut a mat in Blushing Bride with the same punch, trimmed the side edges again, then cut in half. Each half frames the top and bottom edge.
The Whisper White panel is attached to the card base with liquid glue. The matted sentiment is attached using dimensionals.
Inside the card, I stamped a single rose image in blushing bride, a single leaf in stamped off Shaded Spruce and a twig image is stamped in Soft Sea Foam on a piece of Whisper White, trimmed down and then attached inside with tear-n-tape.
