Fabled Friends are ready for Spring

In this post I have for you a card created for the CAS Colours & Sketches Color Challenges #362. For this color challenge we are to use Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Balmy Blue. I hope you will pop on over take a look around and enter one of your own creations. This is what I came up with.
I guess I have been bitten by the Spring Fever bug…thankfully no other bugs or viruses at this time. When I saw the colors for this challenge the first thing that popped into my mind were these ducks from the Stampin’ Up! Fabled Friends stamp set. Such a cute set, full of critters that just have to brighten anyone’s Spring/Easter or celebrate a New Arrival!
The mother duck and her ducklings are stamped in Memento ink, then colored with Stampin’ Up! Stampin Write Markers in Balmy Blue and Melon Mambo, the tiny bills and feet as well as mama’s attire, bill and feet are colored with So Saffron Dark Stampin Blends Marker. The finished image is cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die, then attached to a So Saffron Mat that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. The sentiment “Happy Spring” is stamped in Balmy Blue on a tag die from the Tags, Tags, Tags bundle released in the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. The tag is in the Trio of Tags Die set in this bundle.
Inside the card is stamped a cluster of flowers from the Under My Umbrella stamp set, then colored in the challenge colors.
