Another week brings another challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenges #368 with a sketch challenge, here is what I created to inspire you to create your masterpiece and post for our challenge. Come on over, check us out, it is so much fun – I know you will love seeing all the creations for the color or sketch challenges, sometimes, even both in one challenge!
Here is what I have for you this week.
I created several cards with this sketch challenge to fill a need, I created a series of Thank You cards. Both are using the patterns from the Dressed Up Suite, called Best Dressed, a 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper Pack. The one card I am showcasing here is a nod to the 2018-2020 In-color that is being retired come June…Lovely Lipstick! The seams are covered with this Lovely Lipstick ribbon.
I’m sorry to see those colors go, however, never fear they are being replaced with some new equally fun and bright colors. Stay tuned!
The Sentiment “Thank You” is from the Abstract Impressions Stamp set, also retiring in June. It has proven to be quite the workhorse, so it is a well deserved retirement. The Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to cut out the sentiment.
Moving on to the never to be forgotten inside. Paying homage, yet again, to some beloved retiring product….Abstract Impressions stamp set flower image is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick.
