For this post I have the card I created for an inspiration piece for the CAS Colours & Sketches Sketch Challenge #366. I actually created 2 cards for this Challenge, the first thought was far more than a clean and Simple sort of card, I will include a photo of that card here for grins and giggles. The second card fit the clean and simple bill, it cracks me up to see how different they are, but yet follow the same line of thought. I love how both turned out, but I am in love with the first (non-clean and simple) card I create. It will show up in its own post.

Without further adieu I present my clean and simple option. Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock. work in tandem with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers combo, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers combo and Crumb Cake Ink, one stamp and a couple of die cuts from the same Ornate Garden Suite early release, all pulled together with a little bit of ribbon. The Ornate Garden Suite is a beautiful collection that pulls straight through Spring and right into Summer. Daisies are the flower of choice for this suite. This set could so easily play with the Daisy Lane Bundle, Daisy Delight Stamp set. I could see it playing nicely with the A Little Lace Bundle as well. There are 2 sizes of Daisy Punches that can come to play also, a Large Daisy Punch and a Medium Daisy Punch included in the Daisy Lane Bundle.

If your curious, this is the other card I created for this challenge. Sometimes you just gotta go with what is in your gut/heart, this is what came out. My head led me to the clean and simple card above.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Below are pictured links to all the items used for this card, click the link of the item to be taken to my online store where you can learn more about each item. If you would like to learn more about this challenge or to see what other talented designers have created for this challenge, hop on over to CAS Colours & Sketches. I will return soon with something new. Until then, stay safe, and by all means keep crafting, exploring and creating. See you soon.

Shannon, I love your yellow and white card. Those 2 colors have always appealed to me and by using the Ornate Garden Dies, the background color shines through the die’s beautiful edges. Great card.
