This card was created for a card swap I was involved in using all things Butterfly Bouquet. A new Suite that is available at Stampin’ Up! right now for a limited time.
This card starts with a Smoky Slate cardbase cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ for a standard side folding A2 card. The mat, cut with a Stitched Rectangles die, and butterfies are from Misty Moonlight cardstock. The butterflies are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black then die cut with coordinating dies. The top layer is Basic Black sprayed with Frost White Shimmer paint, then die cut with the more intricate coordinating dies. The other layers are patterned papers from the collection of Designer Series Paper in the Suite and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper that is a light wood color with a very distinctive wood grain embossed into it.
