CAS Colours and Sketch Color Challenge #356

In this post I have for you a card created for the CAS Colours & Sketches Color Challenges #356. I hope you will pop on over take a look around and enter one of your own creations. This is what I came up with.
The cardbase is Whisper White Thick cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ creating a top fold “tent” card. On a piece of Whisper White card cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ I stamped the dotted heart image from the Heartfelt stamp set in Versamark, creating my own DSP, then heat embossed in silver. To that I added a strip of Specialty Designer Series Paper (my favorite pattern) and a strip of Silver Foil card stock cut with a die from the Stitched Be Mine Die set from the Annual Catalog. The Sentiment heart “Happy Valentine’s Day”, also from the Heartfelt stamp set, is stamped in a combination of Real Red and Versamark, the clear heat embossed. The Silver embossed heart mat is also from the same set. Both hearts on created on whisper white scraps then cut with the coordinating Heart Punches from the Heart Punch Pack.
As always the inside cannot be missed and needs its own punch of color and personality. From my stash, but also cut with the Stitched Be Mine dies, are these stitched scalloped heart in Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and Silver Foil.
