Jeanne’s next challenge for this month is a fun slimline sketch! I always get so excited when a slimline challenge comes along – its just not typically in my wheelhouse. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with for this sketch. If you are so inclined, please post a photo in our photo gallery for this CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.

This slim line card is 8-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and uses 3 stamp sets – Sweet Conversations and its coordinating die set Sweet Hearts Dies. Celebrate Sunflowers and its coordinating die set Sunflower Dies. The sentiment “Thinking of You” is from On the Horizon stamp set and die cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I used the baby wipe as an inkpad technique combining drops of Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point from the refill bottle. Then I die cut each heart with the coordinating die. The sunflower is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Garden Green. I used Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry Watercolor pencils (minus the water) to give it a bit more color and definition. I used the 3D Tasteful Texture embossing folder for the background panel. Drew an outline around the embossed panel with a black fine tip marker. I glued the hearts to the panel, then attached the sentiment and sunflower with dimensionals.
