The 3rd challenge of October for CAS Colours & Sketches is here. Michal has pulled together some beautiful colors that really nestle quite nicely with a Fall/Autumn theme. Quiet, Serene and BOLD. I was a bit baffled what to do with this color scheme – Then I took its Fall suggestion to heart. I’m, and the rest of the CC&S team are quite curious to see what these colors brought to mind for you. If you are so inclined, please post your card creation to our challenge gallery. Like I said earlier – I was a bit baffled – the Pacific Point really threw me off. But then, an epiphany occurred. My Fall muse spoke to me and off we went. One stamp set, a couple of dies and I present you with:

On Basic White cardstock I used the leaf image in the Season of Chic stamp set, along with the Stamparatus to stamp the leaves two tone. I laid a base of Pale Papaya, and the 1st or 2nd generation of Sahara Sand over the Pale Papaya, either at the top or bottom of the leaf image. I stamped the sentiment “Thanks”, also from the Season of Chic stamp set, in Pacific Point on a piece of Basic White card stock. Grabbed a die from the Tailor Made Tags die set and 2 dies from the Deckled Rectangles Die set, off to die cutting. I glued the die cut Basic White finished panel to the piece of Pale Papaya, and placed them center stage on the Sahara Sand top folding card base. I attached a little bit of linen thread to the tag and attached the sentiment to the card with Dimensionals. Inside is lined with a piece of Basic White cardstock also die cut with a Deckled Rectangle die. Since there are no two leaves that look a like, the leaves inside are stamped simply with Pale Papaya and another in Sahara Sand.
