With this post I bring you great news that I am so excited to share with you all. I have been accepted a spot with Colours and Sketches Challenge Team to be on the design team. I am so excited to apart of this group, I hope to learn a lot and hope to inspire even more. CAS Colours & Sketches is currently celebrating their 350th challenge and the blog’s 7th Birthday. I must say Thank you to the designers and followers before me, for helping the CAS Blog address find their way into my world and allowing me the opportunity to offer creative inspiration to others (hopefully). For my introduction as a new design team member, I have selected to follow a sketch from last year: Challenge #300 – November 27, 2018 .

I am in full Christmas mode around here, getting gifts ready for coaches, teachers, postal carriers, delivery drivers, waste collection crew and so on! The list seems endless. I took a time out because once I found this sketch in the archive a gorgeous idea hit me right upside the head. I hope you like it as much I love it.

I am absolutely loving this Brightly Gleaming Suite, particularly the Christmas Gleaming Cling Stamp Set. The ornaments have coordinating punches which makes it so quick and easy to cut these guys out! Love dies but punches are awesome! Begin with a Whisper White Card base cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ to create a top folding A2 card.

The Stamparatus made quick work of laying out the gold heat embossed ornaments on a piece of Pretty Peacock Card stock for easy punching. The ornaments are adhered with liquid glue and dimensionals.

The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is also gold heat embossed on a piece of scrap Whisper White, then trimmed to size with the paper trimmer. The sentiment is adhered with liquid adhesive to the Pretty Peacock mat which was also trimmed to size. The sentiment combo is attached to card base with liquid glue.

Inside of the card shall not be neglected. My preference is to create several of an item at one time. So the white gold embossed embossed was created earlier in the season, so it was ready and waiting for me to put it inside this card.

I adore this stamp set, it seems to be one of my go to’s this season. I have created so many of extras of various images in the set because I use it so frequently. If you would like to learn more about this or so many other challenges or to see what others have created head on over to the Colours and Sketches blog

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Below are pictured links to all the items used for this card, click the link of the item to be taken to my online store where you can learn more about each item. Don’t forget to comment in the comment section below for a chance to win the item pictured above. I will return soon with something new. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy and without doubt, keep on crafting, exploring and creating.
