Yoon Young is the CC&S hostess for the month of February, she has selected a perfect color combination for our first color challenge of the month! Quite curious to see what St. Valentine stirs up in your creations….or not. What do you see with these colors? We would love to see what your creations are. My mind did go straight to Valentines day – so this is what I came up with, along with another.

I used the Driving By stamp set for the car image, leaving off the balloons already part of the image. I colored the car in with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker. The heart balloons I created using the triple heart image, only inking up one of the hearts with Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride, from the Sweet Conversations stamp set. I drew the strings in freehand with a journaling pen. The sentiment was pulled from the Gumball Greeting stamp set. I die cut the final panel with a Stitched Rectangles Die and attached it to the card base with a slightly smaller piece of white craft foam. I prefer the support a full piece of craft foam offers verses dimensionals on the larger panels like this, it doesn’t add to postage either.
