Welcome to a New Year, 2022 has already begun and appears to be off and running. So lets kick the New Year off with a new colorful color challenge brought to you by our CAS Colours & Sketches January hostess Joanne. I love this color challenge because, I think, it is quite versatile and can head off in most any direction – I think it is perfect combination for those Valentine cards that could be needed in February. These colors reminded me of a colorful collection of kitchen items – I do like a colorful kitchen, but not sure how or why my head went this direction – but it did. Running with the New Years resolution ideas and post COVID lockdown realizations, that happiness can be found quite easily in the home surrounded by family. Thus “happiness is homemade”.

This card is a one set wonder with the help of a coordinating die or two. I used the What’s Cookin’ stamp set and the coordinating Cookin’ die set The bowl is stamped in Poppy Parade and die cut, the rubber spatula is stamped in Highland Heather and die cut, finally the salt and pepper grinders are stamped in Petal Pink and also die cut. The sentiment “Happiness is Homemade” is also stamped in Poppy Parade, directly on the Basic White Card base.
