So many ideas running through my head and so little time to give them all the attention they deserve! This card is just skating around the potential of this beautiful Daffodil Bundle. Then to boot, there is a coordinating Designer Series Paper available through Sale-A-Bration which ends 28 February. I also pulled in a few reinforcements for this project – I felt like getting a bit messy and playing around. Lets start with the card with the black card base – I used a strip of the coordinating Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper. On another piece of Basic Black cardstock I used a stencil from the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Decorative Masks, with some Embossing Paste for a bit of texture. I used the same stencil on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock blending Daffodil Delight and Soft Succulent. I stamped the daffodil bouquet image onto Basic White cardstock, water colored the images with Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent using a water brush. Then die cut with the coordinating die. I created tags with the Tailored Tags dies using a sentiment from the set inked with Daffodil Delight on both Very Vanilla and Basic White cardstock. To finish everything off, I tied up each bouquet with Linen Thread and Whisper White Twine. I finished both cards off with a bit of bling using Brushed Brass Butterflies and 2021-2023 In-color Jewels. Inside both cards I stamped a couple of butterflies and the border image also from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set, then added a touch of color by watercoloring with Daffodil Delight in a few open spaces.
