Card Challenges

Easter Greetings

Hey! Thanks for stopping by, today I have for you a card that was created for Easter holiday fast approaching (Can you believe it already?!), and also for a challenge posted by Freshly Made Sketches #FMS383.

I cannot believe that it is already mid-April, time is absolutely flying. My 5th grader even commented how quickly this year is already flying by, and went on to say…..it’s only going to get faster! Wow, out of the mouths of babes! I already had Easter prep on my mind when this challenge popped up, so I thought I would use it as a kick off for the Easter cards I still need to create. I may just mass produce this one, I love the way it turned out. I stamped the Lily with the Lasting Lily stamp set using Gorgeous Grape and Blushing Bride ink the steams use Granny Apple Green ink. The lily is attached to the card using dimensionals. The Designer Series Paper is from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP) and “outlined” with Gorgeous Grape card stock. The embellishment is Highland Heather card stock run through the Big Shot with a die from the Meant To Be bundle. The greeting is embossed in black and comes from the Fable Friends stamp set

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a spectacular Easter Holiday!

Gorgeous card! The die-cut element at the bottom looks so delicate and pretty and perfect for the sketch. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
