Harvest Hello comes out to play with Paper Players

Hey everyone, thanks for taking a minute to visit with me! I am so glad you stopped by.

Today I have created a card for the Paper Players Clean and Simple any Cards for Kids Challenge: #PP455. Being in full Fall season mode that I seem to be in, I thought a pumpkin card would be a cute kids card.

This card is pretty clean and simple, we start with a half sheet of Whisper White thick card stock cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ to create a standard side folding card. On a Whisper White panel I stamped the pumpkin image from the new set releasing in the September in the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog. It can come as a bundle that includes a punch to cut out a pumpkin and/or apple. Then I used the Swirly Frames stamp set to create a bit of a background.

I used generational stamping to create the background, stamping off on a scrap piece of paper first, then onto the panel one or two more times. Whatever felt good! I did that with So Saffron, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

I felt the pumpkin needed a bit more so I did color it in a bit with a Pumpkin Pie Watercolor pencil.

Inside the card I just stamped a border of leaves and the vine tendril image from Harvest Hellos in Old Olive, also utilizing a bit more of generational stamping.

Minus the colored pencil this could be a #simplestamping contender, I hope you enjoyed this creation and maybe found some inspiration within!
