Today I have a September Paper Pumpkin Alternative card for the new weekly challenge at Global Design Project. This week they have a CASE challenge. CASE-ing is Copy And Selectively Edit. A card designed earlier is presented for inspiration, you take the parts and pieces you like from that card and make it your own.

I was inspired with the mono-chromatic layers of this card. I really didn’t want to go with white since I was working with an Autumn/Halloween vibe. I adore the little doily die cuts that are included in this months kit….so cute. I decided to go with the Bumble Bee doily and coordinating layers. For the primary front panel introduces another color, so I chose to go with a very neutral patterned paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, then die cut the shape with the Stitched so sweetly die. The dry embossed layers use the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and another folder from the Wrapped in Texture mini set. On a scrap of Whisper White I used a little bit of the masking technique to stamp the pumpkin and witches hat from the kits stamp set in Cajun Craze and Basic Gray. Using the additional die cuts from the kit and some Artistry Blooms Sequins to decorate the hat. The greeting is also from the kit stamp set, stamped with the kits included Cajun Craze ink spot on an also kit included Whisper white tag. This Hello Pumpkin September Paper Pumpkin is too cute!
