I am falling a bit behind in the coordinating tag idea – but at least in my book – its better late than never. Click here to see the card this tag coordinates with. I took a few extra liberties with the card design – but hey, the tag is a new project that simply coordinates with another project. They don’t have to be identical.
I used the Mountain Air Bundle and the Life is Beautiful Stamp set to create this tag. The tag begins with Whisper White cardstock. I used a 1″ circle punch to create a mask for the sun. I envision it as a setting sun, you could envision it as a rising sun….either way works! Then I blended Cherry Cobbler and Mango Melody together to create the skyline. On scraps of Basic Gray, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider I first stamped the mountain image from the Mountain Air stamps in the coordinating ink, then Using the Majestic Mountain dies I die cut the mountains. I did the same with the tree line in Mossy Meadow. I inked the edges of the tree line and the mountains with the coordinating ink. Using the single pine tree dies from the Majestic Mountain dies, I cut the pine trees in the front from Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. Once I play with the pieces and get the lineup I like, everything is glued into place. The trio of birds also come from the Mountain Air stamp set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. To jazz this tag up a bit more, I used Wink of Stella along the ridges of the mountains and on the sun. I highlighted a few points on the ridges with a white gel pen then added the Gold glitter enamel dots. The tag is matted with piece of Early Espresso card stock.
The greeting for this tag, “Life is Beautiful”, is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. It comes from a very adaptable and gorgeous stamp set called Life is Beautiful. I trim the greeting to 1″ wide then punch the strip end with the Banners Pick a Punch. The edges are inked with Mango Melody and Cherry Cobbler, additional pizzazz needs to carry over so the Gold Glitter Enamel dots fit the bill. Holes and eyelets are put in place with my Crop-a-dile then sari silk scraps from my stash that happened to work beautifully finish off the tag.

Paper Pumpkin Subscription Options
The Get & Go Starter Kit promotion is meant to give those who sign up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator additional products to help them get started right away. Do you need a new Die-cutting/Dry Embossing machine? The standard size Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine is here! The first release will be the standard size machine that will be able to handle the larger size dies and dry embossing folders. Notice in the picture, there is a mini version that will be released a little bit later.
