This hop definitely put in the mood to get going on the Christmas side of things for sure…. July in the South, my dot on the map in July is hot, humid and all you can think of is popsicles, ice cold beverages, sunscreen and a cool body of water to float in all day long! So what could fill that feeling….snow. I love snowmen, I have collected all sorts of snowman figurines, ornaments, drawings, etc. Now you know my Christmas theme – Snowmen and snowflakes, alot of ice blue, white and wink of stella.

This card comes together with the Snowman Season Stamp set, So Many Snowflakes Dies, then to frame it all out a touch of whimsy is added with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies. The die cut snowflakes have been coated with a couple of coats from Wink of Stella, then topped with the Blue Adhesive Backed gems. The top panel is elevated from the card base with Dimensionals. The snowman is stamped in Basic Gray on the card base, then a touch of watercoloring with Balmy Blue to add an additional touch of color and to ground my fun loving snowman just a bit more. In the lower inside corner, I stamped a cluster of snowflakes several times in 1st and 2nd generation Balmy Blue.
