July certainly does not show signs of slowing down. Here we are with week #3 challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches. Holly has given us a gorgeous selection of colors to work with this week – refreshing and summery! What does your minds eye see with Pear Pizzazz, Bumblebee and Garden Green? We would love to see where your imagination took you, please share what you create on our blog. Our team will take a vote and we post the winners on the Friday after the challenge has ended. Can’t wait to see everyone’s designs for this challenge.

Here is what I came up with:

I decided to mostly go with the Iconic Dies. I die cut these “images” from scraps of Bumblebee, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I found the tag just floating around, begging to be used, so I decided to incorporate it as the mat – but not before embossing it with the one of the Greenery Embossing Folders. I used a bit of watered down Bumblebee ink to add some splatters to the tag, then attached the die cut cardstock images to the tag, then glued the tag to the card base. “Thank You” is stamped in Pear Pizzazz and comes from the Art Gallery Stamp set. Inside the card, I attached some more foliage from the front, die cut with the Iconic Dies and glued them to the bottom corner with a bit more Bumblebee splatter.
